A Sacred Weekend of Breath, Ceremony
& Embodied Teaching
Join Melissa Terese at SoulShine Studios on November 14 for a Ceremonial Breath experience exploring balance between the sacred feminine and masculine within.
Gather in community for guided breath, sacred ritual, and space for reflection and integration. Attend in person or join the simultaneous virtual experience, which will be recorded.
Balance the Inner Sacred Feminine & Masculine
Yin & Yang, Black & White, Shakti & Shiva, Feminine & Masculine. We each have both of these energies within us, but in Western society, we are rarely taught about our inner feminine and masculine. We are currently experiencing a collective shift from patriarchy to matriarchy. If you feel unbalanced and misunderstood in relationships, this may be the reason.
Ceremonial Breath is a group breath session created around community healing and the practice of sacred ceremonies and rituals from our ancient lineages. The BREATH is the medicine. It is a unique experience and allows for deep gentle healing of your body, mind, and soul.
The BREATH is the medicine.
Melissa incorporates Shamanic elements including the opening of Sacred Space, the singing of “Icaro” (song of blessing), the burning of Palos Santos, and the Anointing of scared oils allowing for a connection to nature, the spirit world, and universal oneness. At the end of the session, there will be 15-30 minutes of integration where you may share your experience and allow for grounding after the breath session has ended.

About Melissa
As the founder of Breathwork Worldwide and The Circle of Sacred Breath, Melissa has trained countless facilitators and held space for thousands of people in private sessions, group circles, and immersive workshops. She also created an accessible framework for integrating shamanic energy tools, particularly the Q’ero Peruvian Medicine Wheel, into the breath practice.
Originally from the East Coast, she’s now based in Oklahoma, reconnecting with her native tribe. But a big part of her heart still lives in Powhatan, Virginia, where she built a thriving healing arts practice—alongside a farm full of animals, six cats, and her dog.
An Aquarius to the core, Melissa believes healing is both practical and mystical—a dance between science and spirit, ancient wisdom and modern life. Her mission? To help others reclaim their innate power, remember who they are, and step into their own medicine.
What Students Are Saying
Melissa brings a warmth and playfulness to her work, making the journey of learning and healing both profound and joyful. She once told me that a great teacher wishes for their students to surpass them—words she fully embodies. Today, we stand side by side, facilitating healing experiences together.
Her mantra, Rise, Sister, Rise, is not just something she says—it’s something she lives. She genuinely wants to see her students step into their own power, evolving from student to teacher. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and presence on this path.
Through her training, I learned to weave breathwork into my daily routines, helping me stay grounded and sane in a time when the world feels anything but. It’s not just a practice—it’s become a way of being. And the impact on my business? Profound. I show up more present, more embodied, and more connected—not just to my clients, but to myself.
Melissa is more than a teacher and mentor; she’s a guide who walks the path with you. Her wisdom, warmth, and authenticity create a space where real transformation happens. I’m beyond grateful for her and the journey she’s led me on.
